Gorgeous subtle smell.
I’ve been on a mission to remove chemicals and endocrine disruptors from our house but was struggling to accept a life without candles (guilty pleasure!). When in a lovely little shop on the edge of Dartmoor we stumbled across La Luna and came home with the Porth scent. Fast forward to panicking we were running out I jumped on the website and bought two additional scents (one being Wildflower the other being Cornish Garden), without ever having smelled either in real life. I’m so glad we did!!
When you first open the jar, Wildflower has a very strong scent, noticeably stronger than the other two we have.
However don’t let that put you off! Once lit, the scent shifts into the same depth of notes as Porth - subtle but still easily noticeable. It’s definitely a floral scent (the name should be a give away!) versus the others we’ve tried which are on the fresher side. But it’s not overpowering and doesn’t get stuck up your nose the way that other floral candle scents can. And most importantly, it doesn’t have that synthetic/chemical heaviness. I have it as an upstairs candle - and it is the perfect background for a bedroom, home office and even bath time.
We’ve had so many compliments and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for our candles now. Excited to try the next one!
